📝 Step-by-Step Written Guide
Unbox & Inspect
Lay all components on a clean surface. Verify you have: 2 seat covers, 4 headrest covers (if included), elastic straps, and installation guide.
⏱️ 2 minutesRemove Headrests
Press the headrest button (usually at base) and pull headrest straight up to remove. Set aside both headrests.
⏱️ 2 minutesSlide Cover Over Seatback
Starting from the top of the seat, slide the cover down over the seatback. The headrest hole should align with the headrest slot. Pull cover all the way down evenly on both sides.
⏱️ 5 minutes per seatSecure Elastic Straps
Reach behind the seat and connect the elastic straps. Most seats have 2-4 straps with buckles or hooks. Tighten until snug — not stretched to maximum.
⏱️ 3 minutes per seatTuck Seat Cushion Cover
Pull the cushion part of the cover over the seat bottom. Tuck excess fabric into the crease between seat and backrest. Smooth out wrinkles.
⏱️ 3 minutes per seatReinstall Headrests
Slide headrest covers onto headrests. Insert headrest back into the seat. Push down until you hear it click into place.
⏱️ 2 minutesCut Slots for Seat Belt & Controls (if needed)
If your seat belt buckle is sewn into the seat, use scissors to cut a small slit in the cover where the buckle pokes through. Same for power controls. Most pre-cut covers don't need this.
⏱️ 3 minutes if applicableTest Airbags & Seatbelts
Buckle in. Sit in the seat. Verify seat belt retracts smoothly. Check that side airbag seams are positioned correctly (look for the perforated airbag deployment line).
⏱️ 2 minutes💡 Pro Tips for Best Results
- Warm up the cover first — Leave covers in a warm room (or sunny car) for 30 min before install. Warm leather stretches easier.
- Install one seat at a time — Don't rush both at once. Driver's first, then passenger.
- Pull from the seams, not the middle of the cover. This prevents stretching the cushion area.
- Re-tighten after 1 week — Covers naturally settle. Re-tighten straps for a perfect fit.
- Save the packaging for at least 30 days in case you need to return.
